Pharmacology
Pharmacodynamic Spectinomycin hydrochloride belongs to aminoglycoside antibiotic spectinomycin,and it has the effect of the moderate inhibition for a variety of gram-negative bacteria, such as E. coli, Salmonella, Shigella, Proteus and so on. It is sensitive for streptococcus, pneumococcus,staphylococcus epidermidis and certain mycoplasma (such as Mycoplasma gallisepticum, Mycoplasma meleagridis , Mycoplasma synoviae and so on).It is insensitive for viridans streptococci and staphylococcus aureus . Pseudomonas aeruginosa and treponeme could be usually drug-resistant. Intestinal bacteria’s drug resistance is more extensive to spectinomycin , but it does not show cross-resistance to streptomycin. Lincomycin has the good antibacterial activity against anaerobic bacteria,such as fusobacterium,peptococci, peptostreptococcus,clostridium tetani,clostridium perfringens and most actinomycetes. Lincomycin plays a major role in the 50S subunit of the bacterial ribosome, and it influences protein synthesis by inhibiting peptide chain’s extension.
Pharmacokinetic spectinomycin could be absorbed only 7 percent after oral administration, but it maintain a high concentration in the gastrointestinal tract. Tissue concentration of the drug is less than the serum concentration of the drug. Not easily into the cerebrospinal fluid or the eye, the binding rate with plasma protein is not high. Most drugs discharge at the prototype by glomerular filtration.Lincomycin has the poor absorption of oral administration,and it can be absorbed 30% -40% of the dosage. Food can reduce the absorption rate and absorption amount .Using this product 50mg (dissolved in drinking water) per kilogram of body weight for chicken, drinking seven days, concentration of lincomycin could be 0.14μg / ml during the test plasma , while the concentration of spectinomycin is very slightly.After seven days of testing,the concentration of spectinomycin did exceed 0.1μg / ml.
Drug Interaction
(1)Combined with lincomycin,both can significantly increase antibacterial activity of the mycoplasma and expand antibacterial spectrum .
(2) Combining lincomycin and anti-cholinesterase drugs may reduce the efficacy of the latter.
(3) Having the antagonistic effect when combined with erythromycin .
(4) Combining with opioid analgesics, which may result in extension of respiratory depression or may cause respiratory paralysis.
Indications
For the treatment of Gram-negative bacteria, positive bacteria and mycoplasma infection.
Dosage and Administration
In terms of this product. Mixed drinking: every 1L water, poultry 0.5-0.8g.Using for 3-5 days.
