Pharmacology
Amoxicillin and ampicillins antibiotic spectrum and antibacterial activity are basically the same.Due to its absorption in monogastric animals is better than ampicillin, higher plasmadrug concentration, so it has the better efficacy on systemic infection. Applicable to systemic infections caused by susceptible strains such as the respiratory system, urinary system, skin and soft tissue. Amoxicillin is fairly stable on gastric acid,and its 74% -92% is absorpted when monogastric animals are to be taken orally.
Clavulanate potassium is theβ- lactamase inhibitor, and it has a irreversible binding with β- lactamase competitively.So enzymes are losed activity of hydrolyzing β- lactam antibiotics. Amoxicillin combined with clavulanate can improve the former’s effect for infections of resistant staph .
Indications
Infections caused by chicken penicillin susceptible strains.
Dosage and Administration
Mixed feeding: every 1000kg feed, add this product 500-1000g.Used for 3-7 days.
Mixed drink: every 1000L water, add this product 250-500g.Used for 3-7 days.
Adverse Reaction
With penicillin. Should be taken to prevent allergic reactions.
Cautions
(1) The product solution is unstable, especially potassium clavulanate easily decomposed by water , freshly prepared every time.
(2)Layers are disabled on laying period.
