Pharmacological Action
Antimicrobials. Tylosin is a macrolide-specific antibiotic, mainly acting on the bacterial 50S ribosomal subunit, which inhibits bacterial protein synthesis by blocking transamination and mRNA shifts. Tylosin have strong killing effect on gram-positive bacteria, some gram-negative bacteria and other pathogenic microorganisms, and it is particularly effective mycoplasma infection. Sulfamethazine is a sulfonamides antibacterial agent, mainly by blocking the folic acid metabolism of bacteria, inhibit bacterial growth and reproduction.
Indication
For the prevention and treatment of calf respiratory tract and gastrointestinal infections.
Usage & Dosage
1. For prevention: calf from birth to the seventh day, every liter of their feeding milk.
adding the product 2-3 grams; calf fed with substitute milk at 5-7 days can add the product 100 grams to 50 liters substitute milk.
2. For treatment: 10 grams of this product dissolved in feed milk or substitute milk, feeding 2 times a day for 3-5 days.
Adverse Reaction
Long-term use can damage the kidneys and nervous system, affecting weight gain, and the occurrence of sulfa drugs poisoning.
Precaution
The solution of this product can form clathrate and lose efficacy when it meets ion such as iron, copper, aluminum, tin and so on.
